Paris La Défense Arena reinvents the concept of large-scale modular venues. Designed as a showcase for concerts and major cultural events, it also offers an optimal configuration for hosting high-level sporting competitions, particularly rugby. More than just a convertible stadium, it is a performance venue that can become a playing field without compromising the spectator experience. Its architecture incorporates a fixed roof, replacing the initial mobile roof design, and houses a dense stage grid, formed by a network of walkways and rolling beams, designed for technical versatility. dUCKS scéno carried out in-depth work on visibility, seat layout, and the design of telescopic grandstands: their fluidity, maneuverability, and deployment capacity allow public spaces to be reconfigured in record time. Each transformation, from intimate concerts to international matches, is carried out with precision and consistency. The Défense Arena thus becomes an extraordinary stage, serving a hybrid, demanding, and spectacular program.
