Scenography

Unlike traditional PEX systems, which are expensive in terms of m², this project presents itself as a single, compact space offering a multitude of configurations and a wide variety of uses. The exhibition hall can be modulated from one to seven distinct spaces thanks to motorized curtain partitions. With a length of 560 m, it can accommodate a wide range of activities in a variety of fields: exhibitions, trade shows, but also plenary convention halls, small conference rooms, galas and other festive events. The convention and congress center takes the form of a single volume made up of a multitude of spaces, enabling it to accommodate the greatest possible number of activities in a variety of fields – cultural, public or private – or to extend exhibitions. A 13 m-high movable wall allows the façade to be fully opened onto the outdoor exhibition and event space. It will therefore have to accommodate users with particular and different operations and work “habits”, such as show-business professionals, TV broadcasters or corporate conventions. Our intention is therefore not to impose a type of operation that will ultimately suit no-one, but rather to take all these needs into consideration, to offer the appropriate infrastructures, the necessary connections and routing, and to allow technicians freedom of use while preserving the basic principles. The adaptability of these halls is their main asset.
