Scenography

The Camp is an ambitious project to create a campus. The auditorium is located in one of the three glass cylinders in the central square of The Camp. The seating follows the topographical lines of the site. Visibility is optimized and the seats are custom-designed. To enable the auditorium to be used as a projection space, the main challenge was to conceal the glass cylinder. The concealment system retracts into a peripheral groove to disappear when the blinds are open and extends around the entire circumference of the cylinder when the blinds are closed. The network layout and audiovisual equipment were carefully chosen to meet the site’s requirements.
