Scenography
The Delta is the result of an ambitious restructuring of the former Maison de la Culture. It hosts all forms of art, from theater to circus, cinema, and contemporary art. The building combines elegance and modernity, offering accessibility and flawless logistics. The project comprises a versatile scenographic tool consisting of three separate rooms, complemented by exhibition spaces, recording studios, and reception rooms. The large horseshoe-shaped room has a balcony and sliding seats under the stage, and can accommodate a seated or standing audience. The control rooms and cinema booths benefit from the latest networks and protocols. The stage house offers a network of walkways and a walkable grid, accompanied by motorized sliding carriers and polichinelle screens. The entire system is computer-controlled. Le Tambour is a unique, circular hall. It promotes proximity between artists and audience, for an unparalleled immersion. Its tiered seating and modular stage are accompanied by a motorized hanging system on the ceiling. Circus rings facilitate the suspensions and guy wires required for circus configurations. The Médiator hall is shaped like the accessory familiar to guitarists. Its stalls are surrounded by a gallery offering multiple viewpoints, and its stage is ideal for intimate performances or workshops.
