Villa Supramuros embodies a bold vision of the future. In renovating this historic building, the aim is to imagine a place where cultural heritage, creativity and innovation converge. The Villa is a place where verbs come together: Learn, Discover, Create, Experiment, Share and Innovate. This project is the fruit of a successful collaboration with future users from the Rectorat and the school, as well as the Festival d’Avignon, which takes over the Villa and its garden every summer. Each space is designed for versatility, while integrating into the Villa’s existing heritage. The Auditorium, outdoor exhibition gallery, LivingLab’ and coworking rooms all feature a discreet stage infrastructure, essential to the flexibility of the spaces. Lighting strips and masts, audiovisual networks, a variety of projection points, comfortable armchairs and transformable furniture accompany the Villa in a fruitful dynamic of knowledge sharing and collaborative exchange. The flexibility of the spaces, equipped with the latest technologies, facilitates the organization of cultural events, conferences and creative workshops. The restructuring of the space has optimized circulation, improved accessibility and strengthened synergies between the various activities. The Villa Supramuros project, a true center of influence in Avignon, unites the historic past of the site with an evolving, forwardlooking architecture
