Scenography

Launched in 2018 by Disneyland Paris, the project involves the redevelopment of part of a Disney Channel television studio building located in Disney Studio Park. The aim is to create a space that can accommodate a new show and 600 spectators, with a modular design that allows the seating to be retracted to accommodate events. The layout and construction work must allow for the continued operation of the adjacent attractions, in particular the Stitch Live show. The project designed by dUCKS covers all aspects of the venue’s scenography, incorporating the very specific constraints of operating a show that runs several times a day and the flow of forward-moving audiences. The installation of a grid of tensioned cables and a network of walkways and mobile attachment points meets the technical flexibility
requirements of the show. A system of three curved telescopic grandstands placed in front of a large semi-circular balcony ensures optimal visibility for all spectators and the flexibility required for events, allowing the auditorium to be converted to a “flat” configuration in a matter of minutes. The new stage networks enable the development of the latest lighting, sound, and video technologies. The attraction opened in July 2021 under the name “ La Fabrique des rêves Disney junior ” (Disney Junior Dream Factory) and was an immediate success.
