A major project for the town of Les Sables-d’Olonne, the sports and cultural complex built on the Îlot de la Vannerie is a new landmark for the urban area.The sports complex features a 2,000-seat arena designed to host national basketball and handball competitions, as well as several multi-sport halls (gymnastics, climbing, boxing, etc.).The cultural hall is a modular 2,000-seat performance venue dedicated to concerts, solo performances, and theater shows. The hall is organized around a telescopic grandstand, overlooked by a 1,000-seat balcony. A modular stage and flexible rigging grid allow for the rigging of the equipment necessary for the productions hosted. dUCKS scéno contributed its expertise to the design of the cultural building’s operations, the design of its technical modularity, and the definition of its infrastructure, stage equipment, and specialized audiovisual and lighting networks.
