Scenography

The narrow, linear shape of the galleries and the round trip inspire an expanded scenography that takes advantage of the volume and its six sides to enlarge the space and reinforce the feeling of immersion and abundance. The long linear spaces thus become graphic frescoes, continuous media for mediation, constructing an in-depth and reflective discourse on the way there and back. The ceilings are scenographic canvases, some of which are animated, where birds fly, clouds and animals settle, and mirrors multiply the effects and invite contemplation. The tour consists of two main galleries: the first gallery is a grand introduction to biodiversity, consisting of three installations that echo each other within the same space. The artistic installation “Art,” the immersive and poetic digital installation “Nature rêvée” (Dreamed Nature), at the heart of biodiversity, which connects and anchors the experience, and finally the naturalist’s cabinet “Sciences.”The second gallery presents four major installations that explore the themes of disappearance, protection, local biodiversity, and the commitment of scientists, activists, and citizens. The islands and staging of the environments are spread out along the central axis, allowing visitors to walk around them. The two frescoes, “Alert” and “Act,” respond to each other, offering a progressive and reflective discourse
