Scenography

Deep in the mountains, on the border between Sichuan and Guizhou, fl ows the red-hued Chishui River. This valley is home to Baijiu’s fi nest spirits. The Tianbao visit unfolds in six pavilions of contemporary architecture, nestled in a traditional Chinese garden and Dalou Mountain, close to the three caves of Tianbao, Dinbao and Rehe. The concept revolves around the themes of time, transformation and secrecy, embodying the preciousness and excellence of the Langjiu brand. The value of these spirits comes from the interaction between nature and man over long periods of time. At every stage, the best natural materials, the best storage conditions and the best knowledge are brought together. Time does the rest. The experience aims to showcase the quality of Langjiu products through aesthetic, dreamlike and scientifi c discovery. Each pavilion represents a stage in this journey, beginning with the discovery of the unique character of the karst caves, followed by historical and mythological stories, to storage and ageing methods revealing the interactaction
