Scenography
The Chiesi Garden project aims to transform the historic industrial site of the Chiesi company into an innovation hub and a welcoming shared space. The site aspires to become a model of inclusive and participatory architecture in a spirit of harmony between form and function. In this context, the architects called on us to defi ne the program for the multi-space Aula, a central location in the project, the visitor’s fi rst point of contact with the site and a place in constant fl ux. A place open to the city and the central courtyard, like a threshold. To design this modular space, four scenographic objects were developed which, depending on their use allow the space and its functions to be redefi ned : – A motorized technical ceiling enabling the volume to be transformed and all the necessary equipment to be suspended from it, whether scenographic/decorative or even curtains to subdivide/enclose the space ; – A technical fl oor composed of motorized platforms allowing the large stage of the Aula to be transformed into bleachers or a stage, or to modulate the heights for all kinds of events ; – Two mobile control modules with storage for 200 chairs which, depending on their position, can frame and move the stage area, either inside or outside the Aula ; – Four mobile folding stage modules that can be used to adjust the size of the stage, but also to multiply the stage areas and position them as required.
