Scenography
La Seine Musicale, like a prow located at the tip of Seguin Island, is a vast vessel dedicated to music. It features multiple rehearsal rooms, a large modular hall, and a symphony auditorium. The auditorium is an architectural and scenographic marvel. Its twisted wooden nest shape is covered by a huge photovoltaic sail that follows the sun’s path. With its exceptional acoustics, the auditorium offers more than 1,150 seats arranged in a vineyard style, with optimal visibility. The proximity between the audience and the musicians creates an intimate and immersive atmosphere. Its elegant design, combined with a woven wooden interior shell, contributes to this unforgettable visual and acoustic harmony. The modular stage is equipped with state-of-the-art technology. It can accommodate a wide variety of concerts and orchestras, from large philharmonic orchestras to intimate recitals. The orchestra pit and its rows of seats facilitate changes in configuration. The undulations of the honeycomb ceiling are full of subtly integrated stage technology… almost invisible! There
is a walkable grid with a false hanging grid, as well as motorized carriers equipped with chandeliers and three mobile lighting bridges. All audiovisual and stage lighting networks comply with the latest digital protocols and are directly linked to the control room and the rest of the studios. Thanks to its accessibility and carefully thought-out logistics, the Auditorium de la Seine Musicale benefits from simplified and efficient operation.
