Scenography

Since its renovation in 1989, no major work had been carried out. In 2017, the town hall decided to undertake heritage restoration work on the site, including upgrading the stage equipment. An audit of the stage equipment carried out by dUCKS scéno revealed that the stage networks and manual stage machinery were obsolete. The project made it possible to replace the old manual pulley systems with counterbalanced pulley systems, which are less dangerous and more suitable, and to upgrade the motorized carriers. The grid structure was reinforced to support additional loads in line with modern stage design. The iron curtain winch was modernized. The wooden under-stage areas were retained for their great heritage value. The entire stage network was also purged and replaced with infrastructure adapted to the latest technologies used in live performance. dUCKS scéno also contributed its expertise to bring the auditorium up to accessibility standards. The theater will reopen in December 2022.
