From September 28, 2024 to January 26, 2025 a monographic exhibition on the long relationship between Henri Cartier Bresson (Chanteloup-en-Brie, 1908 – Montjustin, 2004) and Italy will be held at the Palazzo Roverella in Rovigo. It is produced in collaboration with Fondation Henri Cartier-Bresson in Paris and Fondazione CAMERA in Turin.

The exhibition, divided chronologically, aims to trace through about 200 photographs and numerous documents, the stages of a relationship that began in the early 1930s with Henri Cartier-Bresson’s first Italian trip, when he had just abandoned painting for good to devote himself to photography,  and continued until he abandoned photography in the 1970s.

Taking part in projects on an international scale, dUCKS scéno is expressing its desire to get closer to Italy through the creation of an “Italian News” blog. The aim is to share our favourites from the Italian cultural scene on a monthly basis: events that we haven’t necessarily taken part in, but which we have enjoyed.
