Scenography

The Nouvelle Fleuriaye in Carquefou seamlessly blends its renovated historic buildings with more contemporary extensions. The resulting structure makes a powerful urban statement, offering much more than meets the eye! It invites visitors to explore its interior, revealing new, modernized spaces that are more accessible to the public. A collaborative scenographic approach involving users has improved the visitor experience and working conditions for staff. Thanks to a spatial reorganization of the lobby and offices, as well as a redesign of the backstage area and stage logistics, La Nouvelle Fleuriaye now benefits from new functional and, above all, cultural opportunities. The Grand Théâtre, with its balcony and remarkable dimensions, has been given a facelift. The replacement of the seats provided an opportunity to rearrange the seating and bring it up to standard. This has improved the flow of traffic, the clarity of visibility, and the immersive relationship between the stage and the audience. The stage area is being given a facelift and fitted with new flooring equipped
with trapdoors. The multipurpose spaces are being enlarged and their stage capacities modernized. Additional rigging points and stage networks meet the latest requirements and protocols.
