Espace Mayenne awarded at World Architecture Awards
Espace Mayenne is one of 10 projects selected by the World Architecture Awards jury, as well as the 5 projects chosen by public vote.
L’Espace Mayenne presents the challenges of arenas, which were originally designed for sporting events, but have since won over cultural tours thanks to their capacity, which can sometimes exceed that of a Zenith! They are the place where anything can become an event, with flexible scenography, architecture and acoustics. The configurations are numerous, and it’s imperative to be able to adjust the spaces and technical requirements according to the show, sporting or professional event (one-man shows, concerts, opera, dance, championships, markets, etc.).
dUCKS scéno supported the architects in their search for flexibility, focusing on operating requirements and the definition of machinery, audiovisual and lighting systems.
